I just wanted to add a quick note to this post, because I have lost a few family members to cancer over the years, so it hits a soft spot with me.
I have known about Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, for quite some time. He has done battle with the authorities before, and emerged from our court system victorious. But now in 2011, once again, the authorties are going after him again.
This is a clear cut case of Big Pharma, going after the little guy, who is a threat to the Billion dollar a year Chemo, and Chemo drug industry.
I find it infuriating that the FDA, is harrasing Dr. Burzynski to no avail. Alternative forms of treatment should be left alone, period. Unless it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the alternative being administered is somehow harmful, or represents some type of danger, which in the case of Dr. Burzynski, this has already been determined. Dr. Burzynski has literally helped hundreds of patients, win theyre battle over various forms of cancer, with his gene-targeted cancer medicines he discovered in the 1970′s called Antineoplastons.
Antineoplastons are responsible for curing some of the most incurable forms of terminal cancer. Various cancer survivors are presented in the film who chose these medicines instead of surgery, chemotherapy or radiation – with full disclosure of medical records to support their diagnosis and recovery – as well as systematic (non-anecdotal) FDA-supervised clinical trial data comparing Antineoplastons to other available treatments—which is published within the peer-reviewed medical literature.
