Ammunition Scarcity

May 22, 2009 | 2nd Amendment

Here are three videos extracted from Mainstream Media. We here at RTR have been aware for more than a year now that general ammunition is becoming scarce.

On a recent trip to a major gun show, prices for popular ammunition had in fact doubled from 1 year ago. Prices for the more common calibers have more than doubled in the last 12 months. The question is why.

Perhaps the general public is becoming aware that:

“There is something terribly wrong with this country”.

Whatever the case may be, the bottom line is expect to be paying higher prices as we move forward through this year.

Stocks in Gun Manufacturers have also seen significant increases. Smith And Wesson Holding Corp. (SWHC) Staged a nice rally so far this year from 1.60 to 7.50. The stock recently weakened when the company announced it was offering 5.5 million shares to raise capital, and at the time of this article the stock was trading 5.50

Sturm Ruger And Co. Inc (RGR) Rallied from its January low of 6.00 to 13.50.

These videos may answer some of these questions. It would appear on the surface that demand is outweighing supply but a wide margin. We have also heard unconfirmed reports that manufacturers are holding back on production at the behest of TPTB.
