Gun Control Treaty

November 15, 2009 | 2nd Amendment, Congress, Constitution, President

Many Americans are going to be in for a surprise. I’m not going to be because I am willing to read and understand.

Regardless of what I’ve been led to believe, I am always willing to listen and learn. When evidence surfaces that dispute, and may correct any information that I base my thoughts upon, I validate, re-evaluate, and change my path if necessary.

This is not the case for the majority. They can’t imagine that all the nonsense they’ve subscribed to is a lie. It would discredit them at their core, which would show how little they truly know.

The U.S. Constitution states in Article VI, Clause 2, “This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”

What this means is that through a very underhanded tactic our government will allow the UN to impose laws upon the citizens of this country.

World Net Daily has posted an article Obama revives talk of U.N. gun control describing the potential of what can happen under treaty. In it Drew Zahn notes; “Bolton, for example, told Ginny Simone, managing editor of the National Rifle Association’s NRA News and host of the NRA’s Daily News program, “The administration is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there’s no doubt – as was the case back over a decade ago – that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.””

We have in the White House a man who stated that he knows the Constitution, and will not take our guns. I believed it to be a lie from the start.

We have in the White House a man who has already gone back on just about everything he promised in his campaign. We have elected a man who appears to have a deep abiding dislike for our form of government. He is certainly of a communist philosophy, which is not a doctrine to promote the good health of the people. It was devised in order to centralize power for a few who will tell us how we will live, and then reap the profits from their dictates.

This current administration is at least as frightening as the last. I consider it to be far more so because it has, as its head, a man who is viewed as some sort of savior for the lower classes. Nothing could be further from the truth. He is an elitist whose pedigree is questionable, and who believes that he has the authority to change this nation, not for the better, but rather for a high-minded vision that will certainly turn into a nightmare for most of the population.

I would suggest you read the article and contact your senator. We need to stop this government from using sneak attacks on our rights. We must stop it now because as sure as the UN will demand our relinquishing our rights there will be those who will enforce those doctrines through the use of weapons.

If you believe that government is benevolent, and that history does not tell us otherwise then sit back. But if you are of the opinion that government cannot be trusted and that we must be ready at all times to defend ourselves then please take action now.
